i've used it, it helps a lot with pain afterwards because there's less swelling.
never managed anything more than 3 and a half hours myself and prefer to only have an hours worth of work done. |

It's been a while since I've had a tattoo, but the only thing that helped me was to relax. Easier said than done I know and it didn't always work, but I eventually started to enjoy it |

"Man up princess! "
This ha ha!
Only ever used it when the lady tattooing my eyebrows insisted.
Worst...tattoo...ever!
Other than that, never had an issue.

My back tattoo, I was in and out of the chair from 11am till 6pm, no food and the shop was freezing! Bloody agony getting it done, but totally fine after. My thigh one? In the chair for 1 hour, no pain during the actual tattoo, but my god it hurt like a bitch for hours after, and felt like it was on fire, no idea what the answer is though, sorry |

Haha love it!!! Never used numbing cream myself. "
Never used it myself yet...Mrsdpt had a few hours on her ribs without it too.
I really did struggle as soon as it was onto the boney bits. Probably for another 15-20 hours to sit through so I'm considering it next time.
Especially since it's swollen up pretty bad this time. Same artist as the other arm and it's never swelled this much |

Had a quick but very sore hour in the chair today...my tattooist suggested numbing cream afterwards, cause I bitch n moan about the pain every time, but told him I can't bring myself to use it...I am a massive Jessie about it but I don't mind who knows I guess |

"Love it, 6 hours booked with my brother tomorrow can't wait, never had need for numbing cream but can sympathise."
I've done a full sleeve with no numbing cream...it's just the top when it wraps over a bit that hit me hard...was downhill from there! |

Learn how to use yr breathing to relax. I use Bepanthen cream after
6hrs is the max I've done on my sleeve
Yr better off eating proper food, with and lucozade yr sugar levels will rise and fall as opposed to being level x |

Never used numbing cream for any of mine. Considering it for my next sitting on my ribs as last time, on the top rose that sits under the band of my bra, it hurt so much it felt like my nipple was on fire. Partly why I've been putting it off getting it finished but it needs to be done. Anyone want to hold my hand? Lol |

Two tattoos. Done them both 100percent sober and laughing and talking with the tattoo artist. One on the ribs hurt the most. Had tears rolling down my face.

Collar bone I here is painfull! what did you get? I had a five our sitting on ribs done then it was badly bruised so two weeks later I got it coloured a cultic cross. I think people who have tattoos are unrighteously judged by people who dont as most people see people with tattoo's as big bald blokes with motorbikes lol.
I personally think it makes you stand out from the crowd I don't judge all men in hoodies and trainers as chavs.
Anyway hope you like it.

Never used it for any of mine. The pain is part of the tattoo. Plus i know quite a few tattooists and the numbing cream, they say it makes the skin harder to tattoo |

The ribs are way stingy! I didn't manage relaxing when I've had my ribs done |

5 fucking hours sod that I feel for you. What you can see was 4 3 hour sessions. 1st was a breeze but my skin rejected the ink. No problem he said on my next visit I've got this turbo super dumper gun will sort this out. It batterd ink into me and hammered me. I swear I come out in shock the 3 falling visits. I had to sleep on my knees but it was worth it....... now it's over |

Just take the pain or you don't deserve it!!
Did 4hrs on my back and fell asleep.
Had 7hrs on my leg but that was in a couple of sittings as that's all I could book.
Now did an hour on my pelvis/lady garden area no bother but after the hour I couldn't even speak till it was finished. Was on fire!!! |

Numbing creams are shit, maybe ok if you do half hour to an hour sitting, but when ive had ink done ive booked 3 ten hour days (8 hours of ink and four half hour breaks) i tried the cream on my 2nd day and it was fine for just over an hour but then the pain was ten times worse than if i hadnt used it at all, as it went from a light pain to a heavy pain instantly and body didnt get time to adjust. Since then its better to man up and stop being a wuss. |
