If he can't come bring Lib.

He's impossible. Maybe if you guarantee a hot, young, single lady within a 5 minute walk of his house will be there

He won't need to come to London, if she's 5 minutes from him. "

Good point. He's probably not coming.

He won't notice her if she's 5 minutes from him. If he travels and then finds she's local he can leave with a smile.

I've never used an Uber. Will it make me feel all cosmopolitan and like a proper grown-up if I do? Last time I was in London I felt like a total pimp using contactless on the tube. I like to think I wasn't instantly recognisable as a bumpkin.

I've only used it once but it seemed great and was definitely a decent price. Though if there's a few going to a station for example, it might be cheaper in a cab.

Yep. Booking a Prem for family for the funeral for two nights was the best part of £150 for one night.

Look out for deals and book away from the centre and travel in.

Travelodge's round Kings Cross or over in the City are currently between £70 and £100...in fact the Covent Garden one was £99 which between two is pretty reasonable given the location - otherwise there are a few half decent independent ones around Kings Cross
