i won an item on ebay last week for 99p .it was on a buy now for £40.00 with a 99p start so i bid with a cpl of minutes left and won it for the 99p start price .i was sent the sellers address then an hr or so later got another email to say his wife had sold the item on gumtree without telling him yeh right i'm sure she did |

open up two windows on what your bidding on with two different browsers.
bid in each window repeatedly if the item is hot and your getting out bid a lot.

If they advised they were advertising elsewhere then at least you know and take the chance. I agree it sounds dodgy.
I like a bargain but have won more by bidding the max I will pay then let everyone battle it out. If I get outbid then it's gone for more than I wanted to pay anyway |

yeh i could report to ebay but tbh i'm just wasting my time as ebay are only interested in taking the money and the customer service is pahetic at best  |
