I get mine to where it fits my biggest part and pull from the middle... Ask for help or use door handles to help.
Lace twice top to middle.
Middle to bottom makes life easier if you have big boobs and a fat belly as I do |

Lace top to waiste; second bottom to waist and over lap by min two eyelets; get all four ribbons in hands, get on all fours breath in then pull as hard as you can! Tie any knot you can tight as you can but slip knots are best. Pull and keep breathing in - try breathing out really hard ... if you feel resistance it's right enough |

I should hire the Mr out for lacing up corsets lol.
He got confused though as mine are top to bottom lacing, as they are 17th century design as I have a short torso.
But seriously find yourself a reenactor they know how to fasten corsets lol |

look up kiku they have a shop on tib street in Manchester selling custom and off the peg corsetry and kink wear a little expensive but the best quality as all hand made some beautifull underwear

Lengthen the strings. Then lace top to middle. Bottom to middle then knot opposites. Pull as tight as possible . Hook over door handle to tighten. Don't breathe in. Ha |
