"Serious question and CBA to google...but are Brazil nuts, nuts or seeds? Its just that I know they are harvested by cutting down large pods full of the nuts?"
Nope they aren't a nut, they are seeds
And peanuts aren't nuts - they are a legume |

"Discrete is not the same as discreet."
They do, however both come from the Latin word for 'separate' but "discrete" went its separate way ironically.
Too, to and two are different too but many cannot grasp that idea! |

No, JFK was shot by LBJ, the CIA, FBI, Castro, the Russians, Teamsters and a cabal of jealous husbands.
Shot 135 times from 14 different angles.

In a 2008 survey, 58% of British teens thought Sherlock Holmes was a real guy, while 20% thought Winston Churchill was not.

"On the hippo theme. Hippos don't swim. They just sink to the bottom and walk or in some cases run bloody fast.
This fact is why the BBC have pulled the 'dancing hippos' (not really a fact) "
And the fuckers do it with style! |

The Castle Camelot of Arthurian legend was actually named after a princess from a far away land who upon visiting King Arthur's chambers for a night of passion came a lot.
King Arthur was so impressed that he named his castle after her. Incidentally the moat around the castle was added after King Arthur drew inspiration from the puddle the Princess left on his bed!
True story.
Honest. |

I met a nut job in a local pub who changed his name by deed poll to Stewart Pendragon, hired a small excavator and the proceeded to dig up various locations about town looking for treasure he claimed had been left there for safe-keeping by Dodi Fayed and Princess Diana.
I did say 'nut job'. |

This one is actually true!"
Maybe that's why they are called hungry hippos... |

"Hippos are Africa's most deadly animal. They can also bite alligators in half.
There are no species of alligator native to Africa, they are only found in America and China.
(and the zoo)"
And that's exactly why zoo's should keep the alligators as far-away from the hippos as possible! |
