I'm looking forward to it. It's been nice to be off and I really have shut down from work stuff so I'm ready to go back and get stuck in.

Was back at work today and really wasn't looking forward to it. Beginning to be a regular thing that I don't look forward to work. I love my job so thinking it's time to look for other opportunities in my field

Already been back...

Consider yourself lucky if you've had a long break.

It's the poor buggers in retail, service, medical and transport I feel for...

Shops should close longer. They used to.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I charged and switched on the work phone for the first time in two weeks: two people have already sent messages to tell me they won't be in tomorrow.

At least this is the holiday period where the e-mails really do stop so there isn't that long day of responding to things that are out of date.

Let's all enjoy our first day back.

I do feel for you all. I agree that the shops should close for longer as I think we have lost something making so many roles as "essential" 365 days a year jobs.

Some of us have a week off! Mind you I was working Boxing Day and the last 4 days so I think I might just about deserve it, maybe.

In my old job I'd literally be sobbing at the thought of returning (not even kidding, I'm "too manly" to admit it.

Then I quit and went for a complete change of career and haven't looked back.

That said, given the opportunity, I'd stop working in a heartbeat!
