I have a cookery book by the daily mail 1920 circa:- I wish there was a caption inside with a picture Illustrateing the cook of the household and someone saying below she`s remembered the cooking sherry at the back of the larder ..  similar ones on old postcards showing the stocking tops... nostalgia.. |
