Yep. They were both leaving the series but wanted to come back in the future, but the writers decided to kill them off instead |

I personally thought it was very well written and tied up a lot of loose ends..
the Lee/robbery storyline for one, and the way it interplayed with the Cinderella story was very clever..
people are always knocking EastEnders but the fact is if it was as bad as everyone says then no one would bother watching it, would they  |
