When I studied my PT level 3, the tutor offered two golden nuggets of tips.
1: forget the word 'diet' and replace with clean eating.
2: throw away the scales and judge your successes by clothing size changes. |

I give up with scales. My ones at home like to have a laugh with me and add or subtract a couple of pounds daily. The ones in the chemist made me 6 pound lighter than the average weight my ones give me. And, the ones at the doctors I only get to use once in a blue moon. I'm going by how my body looks in the mirror, how my clothes fit and how many people say "Bloody hell, you've lost loads of weight"
I fitted into my eldest daughter's top last week |

That's what I did. I've never been one for diets. I, and my son have changed our whole way of eating and I do a lot more walking. I can't do gym equipment, and find it boring anyway. I like the food I make myself, it tastes better than processed food and sauces from jars. |

Clean eating starts Tuesday. Printing out triathlon training plan too
Got journal for recording eating and emotions - I'm such an emotional eater and need to break the habit |

No need for dry January, I rarely overindulge on alcohol.
Gym kit needs packing, ready for intense shorter sessions.
