Good morning lovelies.
Time to reflect and select.
Reflect-- something that made you smile in 2016.
Select-- something you hope to do, which will make you smile in 2017
Me?
Reflect-- I think I finally conquered my fear of flying. Madagascar in July was awesome.
Select-- I aim to get fit and healthy and attend more socials.

my son had his first wrestling match, that was a big deal because he was bullied and ended up with special needs because of that (seriously), but wrestlng has given him loads of confidence. plus the fight itself was a brawl and pretty funny.
not got any hopes for the future, dont like to knock my glass over. |

i was just thinking of reflection too...
reflect: working as a freelance production technician..still don't know if done right decision but need to give at least 12 months before i can say however jobs worked on have been some of the best and most fun I have had in ages and I hope they continue next year.
select: now house up north has sold and money has come through, bills are to be paid and finally I will be taking an intensive driving course and purchasing transport (hoping i pass)..this makes me a hell of a lot more independent..I can actually do things also the opportunities available work wise and fab wise increase tenfold...so win win |

Reflect: it's been a tricky year that saw a 25 year old relationship change quite dramatically, but I think we've handled it like grown ups and I'm really thankful for that.
Select: continue been a grown up re above, find my feet and push onwards. Some boring work stuff too |

Reflect: I graduated and proved a few people wrong. But what also stands out is the one child who hugged me and told me they loved me and I was the best (kids don't lie right?)

reflect : last year i decided to be more assertive at work - im good at what i do and used to silently grumble at others silly selfish and often neglectful ways (in the healthcare profession btw) - now fellow workers come to me to ask how and why and im given more responsibility - no more money but my name on that sheet means yes i do know what im on about and the people get cared for better
select; - this years resolution is to meet more forum/fab people - not necessarily to play but forumites, particularly those that live a little further away are going to be seen - i have 1 organised already and 1 agreed - so looking forward to putting bodies to pics xxx |

Reflect - I've never really be good with kids but my friends little one has taken to me and now gives me lots of hugs and she called me by my name for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I just melted.
Select - My nephew is going to be born. I can't remember the last time I was this excited about anything. |

Reflect- 2016 has been a shitstorm of a year for many reasons. I've been as low as I have ever been and have witnessed those friends who care be there for me. This made us even stronger and I'm thankful for them every day.
Select- I want to lose weight but really that's on the back burner. I want to get another job in a school, gain some form of confidence back and learn to like or at least accept myself. |

2016 has been awesome. Saw my youngest child married, retired from work and reconnected with all my children.
Two new grandchildren arriving in 2017. Hoping to be a more hands on grandmother. Looking to fulfil my dream of living/working further than eight miles from where I was born. The world will be my oyster, I intend travelling to all the places I've dreamed off...God willing!
I'm looking forward to my next adventure!  |

Reflect: 2016 was the year I finally found myself. Though it ended in the worst way, it has been the best year of my life. Met some great people. Made some good friends.
Select: I've never looked forward to a year more or entered a new year with so much trepidation. 2017 will be very challenging, on many fronts. I'd like to try Fab again, so if I can get a meet at some point, whether just a social or more, that really would be something. Ultimately I have bigger fish to fry though. |
