I noticed in the cycling thread that there are a lot more cyclists on fab than I realised. So my question is...... what bike(s) have you got?

I currently have 2.

2017 Giant Anthem 3 mountain bike

2017 Giant TCR Advanced Disc road bike.

I've got a Boardman Road frame that I've changed most of the factory standard fitout. The only original bit is the carbon frame itself

Picked it up cheap on eBay a few years ago so didn't mind spending on new wheels, drive, brakes, etc

Mines a custom build using an 1990's Raleigh Pioneer frame, headstock, forks and side pull caliper brakes.

Everything else was replaced - Shimano 105 drive train with upgraded chainset to provide 52/42 (the original Raleigh chainset was only a 50/42 if I recall). New sealed unit bottom bracket replacing the worn bearing cups and axle). Lightweight aluminium wheels.

I could have bought new for less than all the parts cost me, but I know every inch of that bike and its unique!

I have a beat up looking old Gt aggressor 1, it really does look like a piece of crap! It's got a set of fox float forks and mainly shimano slx/xt running gear, with mavic wheels and schwabble tyre's. I went for a the stealth looking bike, looks crap but with half decent gear, try and put the scallies off nicking it.

She has a bog standard cannondale trail, she picked it purely because of the matt black paint job, I'll start on her upgrades this summer, I'll begin with new tyre's, brakes and shifters, then some decent front sus.

I've also looked at a bike build, I like the old GT aggressor XC and elite colour scheme, but unless I could get a perfect frame I wouldn't build with a 2nd hand frame.

I also like the look of the on one parkwood and 456 carbon frames.

Orbea Avant that I use for Sportives

Specialized Allez for commuting

Specialised Rock Hopper Moutain Bike

And I have a KTM Revalator over in Germay for commuting and ride outs.

I might treat myself to a custom made Wyndy Milla bike later in the year
