with 2016 being a misrable years for some (not my oppinion). Lots of deaths and (depressing on which side of the political argument you were on)Brexit plus Trump, football.

without arguing back what did you think went well this year (for yourself) and what are you looking foward to next year?

Standing up for myself and become single. Took a great deal of courage.

Dropping 4 clothes sizes.

Olympics.

My mates band 'making it'

Seeing black stone cherry for my birthday

Having wonderful friends (some of whom I've met this year)

Having freedom

Learning...

I'm still bobbing along.

That'll do me.

We had some deaths in the family; one unexpected and too young, one from a horrible illness and still too young, one of old age and not unexpected. Still all very sad.

I'm still around for my family; that's enough for me.

I met Black stone cherry when they played in London.

I'm a little envious, in a good way. Their music has inspired me through some dark times.

I've listened to them since and I really like them.

My brother was astounded that I never knew them as he's a massive fan.

Angus & Findhorn

I loved Big Brother and CBB. I may not watch it again but I really enjoyed it.

I loved the summer and I walked miles and miles along the beaches on the Moray Coast.

I sorted my diabetes out by losing weight and exercising more.

I painted a lot more than I have over the last few years and am happy with the outputs. I gave them as Christmas gifts to my family and 2 close friends.

2016 was great and I plan more of the same in 2017

Can't wait to meet your new arrival... if you could time it well that would be fabulous!

My year has had its ups and downs but thankfully mostly ups.

My job has unexpectedly turned into just what I want to be when I grow up... it's only taken 15 years but I actually love my job and I never thought I'd say that. I've been on some amazing trips this year (amazing mostly cause I organised them and I'm a control freak with CDO so that goes without saying!) and I've started on the events for next year.

I became a Godmother to another friends baby and spent a lot of time hanging out with them. My friends are pretty special all round and I'm lucky to have them in my life.

My cat brings me so much love and joy (notwithstanding the dead mouse) that I don't actually mind being a crazy cat lady.

My family are in good health and that makes me pretty lucky.
