Does anyone else get this? It's almost like when someone hot talks to you in real life and your brain just gets replaced by a comatose jellyfish, only capable of twitching mildly in a slightly disconcerting way.

If I don't know what to say, I will wait until I do. If it takes more than a couple of days to think of an appropriate reply, then I might well answer, "I don't know what to say" or "I don't understand". |

I'm ok with messages as have the time to compose myself but totally get this in face to face situations - I occasionally get awestruck and completely lost for words then end up splurting out the first thing that comes to my head - normally something so random it kills the conversation dead! |

Luckily on here I don't clam up, babble or gesticulate so wildly I 1) knock things over or 2) whack someone across the face. I don't get chatted up in real life. Ever. On here if someone hot messages I tell them they're hot and to bear with me until my flabber is no longer gasted that they messaged me. Only I don't put it like that because it's a shite way of expressing it. Also, attaching a face pic is a visual "You messaged this. Are you sure?". No need to ask, no response means I got my answer. |

My first thought, based on past experience outside Fab is, what are they after.
Being reserved as a result is not the best way to start things going
Once I feel comfortable enough I'll pretty much tell you anything and need a filter.

I'm not good with flirty past the second message and if they want sexy talk i'm no good past the fourth message. I then just leave the messages until i can think of something to say (which is sometimes never!).
If you want a run down on all normal stuff that is not related to sex at all, and makes you lose the will to live, then i'm your gal.

It's easier to talk to people (online) and in the real world, when you want nothing from them or don't care what they think of you. Perfect example, guy that comes in the gym where I work that I've fancied since I first saw him 10 months ago. Before this black cloud descended upon me all I could think about was fucking him and would get tongue tied whenever I saw him, the last month or so and it's effort to even look people in the eye. Even when he came in and saw the Xmas decorations in reception and made a joke asking if there was any mistletoe I just looked at him and said "no, there's not."

I say anything, usually whatever comes out, which will be respectful and that's the most important thing. If I fancy them then this influence will be in there.
In clubs etc I get it that some people just get a little excited or nervous and I just accept that and assume that others would too, should I ever make a faux pas.
There's nothing more perfect, than when you are just being yourself. We frequently set our personal standards too high, when we should just be relaxing and enjoying our lives. |

I quite enjoy a bit of banter with someone who is similar minded to me but I if I feel they are trying to steer the conversation towards that of a sexual nature then I lose interest... especially if it's someone I don't know .. if I can engage someone in normalish banter on here then I am more likely to want to meet them.. it has nothing to do with looks a lot of the time |

This is so us, but we know we do it!! But we don't know why & we know it pisses people off to cos when we think "Oh shit haven't messaged xyz for a while" we send a message & it gets ignored.
Our loss usually.
In our defense though we do say we are shit at messaging in our profile.

The only time I get all tongue tied & flustered is in a situation where I'm not expecting to meet a hot man, i.e. work, meetings, doctors, then I've been known to come out with all sorts of random shite |
