Costa is short for cost a lot for brown water... I get more flavour out of instant coffee!

Starbucks, not too bad and will give a double shot if asked.

Nero, pretty good

but the best coffee is from my coffee machine in my kitchen.

Just goes to show how we all differ. The only time I've been into a McDonald's in the last ten years was for a coffee, and I spat that vile muck back into the cup.

I tend to gravitate towards Neros but usually end up in one of the independent coffee places in Leicester. St. Martins coffee is really good.

We both used to love Starbucks but they change their guest blend too often and the taste isn't consistent, the house blend is too bland.

Our favourite is a small independent near us and the stuff we grind at home (Aldi espresso beans)

Some where in West Sussex

Costa for the loyalty card points

Starbucks for the mugs they give you ( instead of glass ones of Costa )

Nero's for the convenience ( there's one just through the ticket barriers in Victoria train station )

Over all I would say Starbucks for me how ever I just wish they would change their loyalty system where we get a star per coffee we buy and NOT one for the whole purchase but there is a loop hole lol

I'm guessing your McDonald's coffee was a while ago, as they used to serve up the most disgusting muck ever to be given the name coffee. They changed a couple of years ago and it's now faly drinkable.

Out of the three listed, I'd go with Starbucks, as they are more consistently good. My usual haunt is a Santa Fe, but I have no idea how widespread they are!?

Have to agree. Never liked coffee until I drank coffee in Italy. Wasn't bitter at all. Turns out all the coffee chains we are used to totally over roast their coffee beans! Always have the best coffee using freshly ground beans in my own espresso machine. No amount of syrup can improve the flavor of coffee shop coffees imho
