any new years resolutions ?

are you packing up something or starting something ?

mines walking , it takes 20 minutes to walk a mile .....gets your breathing going , fills your lungs with fresh air , and dosent damage knees and hips like running / jogging does.

the pounds falloff too if you do it regularly ..

change routes so you dont get bored.

theres a map my walk app too for your phone , stick it in your pocket and at the end tells you heart rate , calories burnt etc..

so for me its to walk a mile a day getting faster as the weeks go on ..

whats yours going to be?

"I have resolved to not make any more New Years Eve resolutions "

Is the only successful one I ever made some years ago.

The point is that you don;t need a 'new year' to do something. If you want to do it, if you need to do it - just do it.

I don't usually subscribe to the whole new year new me, but of late I've lost sight of some of the things I've wanted to archive.

The new year just happens to coincide with me feeling ready to make the changes I need to make, the winds of change will be blowing through 2017 for me,and iI'm looking forward to the challenge, its less about will power for me and more about time management, and having a plan b for everything, also I'll be letting go of the toxic people in my life, I'm no longer in the savior of the broken business, I'm in the support those who improve my life by just being in it business.

You get one shot at this life, and I've spent most of it sorting other people's demons, its time I had some fun

My New Years resolution is to have that special "play room" I have promised myself.... as an aside, to get better at carpentry and to go to a few more "rope jams"......

...Oh I may give up marmalade as well, because.... well, I think its tradition to give up something

Adventure! That's what I'm looking for, there's so much the world has to offer .

I hate to quote the lion king (who am I kidding, I love to quote the lion king) "there is more to see than can ever be seen, more to do than can ever be done".

And you thought I was going to say hakuna mat tata didn't you lol

I've not really got any resolutions, but I've two goals for the year. Firstly I'd like to expand my drumming abilities, learn new techniques which take my playing to another level...

and secondly, I'd like to improve my fitness in a similar vein. I'm generally quite fit already, but I'd like to be better.

I want to take my little un to Rome in 2018 so mine is for us to both learn Italian so we can engage with the locals

It was my first language and I'm hoping it all comes rushing back as I lost it at a very young age

Hope I will stick to it, habits die hard.

I am already working on spending less of my energy and time on work and more on the family .... it's a gradual process, especially with a promotion last year, but much to do with organisation, efficient use of time and a good team around me ...

I love this sentiment, but I'm far too repressed to embrace it
