Back to slimming world today for the post Christmas reality check!
How much do you think I've put on in the last week?
At my last weigh in I put 1.5lb on and since then we've obviously had Christmas dinner, buffets and drink etc. Not gone too mad on the sweet front as we don't buy the big tins so any I have had have been gifts (and they don't count, right?!)
I have been running a mile a day, 3 miles on Christmas eve and Christmas day, and also did some circuit training so hopefully that will have limited it a bit.
I'm going for 5lb on |

"4lb if i have to guess
but don't feel bad. get weighed again a week after eating normally again. the gain this week is food weight and unrealistic xxxxx"
I have one more meal out tonight then new years hit after that I am back on it. Training for the London Marathon and want to lose 2 stone more before I go to America in March! Focus focus focus! |

"Given that you've been running and that will have kept your metabolism speeded up I'm going for between 2 and 3lbs max."
Same.
And well done you!
If I may, I would not recommend running everyday! (From work experience) May be alternate with upper body strengthening exercises. It sounds like you are doing great, it would be a shame to push your leg muscles and possibly get an injury that would keep you immobile for a bit.
Good luck OP |

I was actually curious on this 5lb gain in a week equates to 2,300kcal above maintainence each day.
(Assuming 80% efficiency)
I think thats a fairly reasonable estimate for christmas (1 or 2 slices of a good cake and having a starter on the main meal each day would do that) |

I'm only doing it this month as a bit of a challenge and only a mile most days. Have been lucky up to now not to pick up any injuries so far and really really really don't want any before April 23rd! |

Thank you x I will be once I've decided who for. I was going to go for a big charity but they have a lot of golden bond places they have given out already (my entry is through a running club do not part of a charity place) am going to look for local charities who would not normally get represented at a higher race like VLM. |

Pigs in blabkets 130/150kcal a pig
Cake 300-600 a slice
Pie 250'300 a pie
