"Suede."

I got to see them back on their first tour when Bernard Butler was still playing guitar. Birmingham Hummingbird I think. So good! Also seen Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, Nirvana and a few others on this thread. I was a little young to appreciate The Smiths back then so with hindsight I wish I'd seen them. Did see Johnny Marr a few years back and he did do some Smiths songs. And did them justice; his band are cracking.

I saw Kirsty supporting the pogues. Very shy on stage but terrific voice.

With you on The Jam OP, seen Weller solo numerous times snd The Style Council a couple of times too, but timing never did work out to see The Jam. Other one would be The Clash - sadly for different reasons neither is ever going to happen now.

The only other one was The Specials, who I did finally get to see on their first reunion tour and were awesome, even though, sadly, Dammers wasn't there.

Bruce has appeared a couple of times with Paul on his solo tours not even sure Rick plays any more, and certainly won't be guest appearing with Weller any time soon. As an aside the charitable project I help out with that releases albums of covers of different artists by unsigned bands is doing The Jam in 2017, can't wait to hear some of those.
