As a shaggy long haired male who feels his hair is under-appreciated in favour of the supposedly more manly and predictable crew cut. I thought I'd start my very own long hair appreciation society to highlight the positive attributes of long locks.
1) great for running your hands through and pulling on.
2) man bun
3) John Snow
Feel free to discuss this very devicive subject xx

Used to have it halfway down ma back in the 80's complete with a ZZ Top beard. Have since sported a slightly dodgy Mohawk, been completely shaven, full on beard and shaven head, but now have shoulder length hair & a turquoise goatee  |

Wow, i'm surprised at how popular long hair is for some of the ladies on here.
I've had long hair for years as I used to play in bands when I was younger and I think i'd feel strange without it!
What's funny is that i've had a few messages from ladies on here specifically saying that they don't like long hair |

I'm not sure I will go through growing mine long again. Did it twice over the years. Really long, halfway down my back once. It took a lot of looking after (it goes wavy and knotty). Who knows, I may yet become a surf beach bum and do it all again someday |
