Yep I think the island I went to was called Kuramathi at the time it was one of the bigger islands but still not huge you could walk the whole island in an hour
Great if you want to totally relax or if your into diving, definitely wouldn't think of it as s party holiday or a holiday where you'd see much swinger action but I could be wrong |

We've been, it's relaxing all right, don't expect to party every night though, and it's all couples, not a single in sight, but it's an experience you'll never forget, our island, you could swim around in 45 minutes, but you swim with turtles, stingrays and dolphins, bats the size of crows, and you leave the gekcko,s in your room to catch the tiny flies, white sands and turquoise sea, paradise,
God I wish I was there right now. |

If you are going as a single why not try Mauritius or something, it's easier to get to with no sea plane or anything required and a little bit more socialable and very beautiful |

Unless you are into scuba, don't bother... Definitely not the place to go and meet singles..
Most islands will have between 50 and 200 guests...mostly honeymooners/loved up couples.. Swingers central it ain't.
If you do want to go, kuramathi as mentioned above is a good island, quite big and has 3 separate resorts.. also has a good dive centre and a nearby hammerhead dive point.
If you want something different, try sir banyas island in Abu dhabi.. |

Vilamendhoo awesome place, couldn't keep out of the water, thought i might miss something.
had lizard in the shower but i like them and they don't hurt anyone.
experience of a lifetime and if you want to switch off totally and enter into a coral reef world, then i wouldn't miss the opportunity for the world x |

Been twice one of the most beautiful places on our planet...total chill fest of a holiday...water villas are best if you dont fancy the lizard...but baby sharks amongst other sealife such as turtles swimming past your deck...magical
Oh and the bats are massive!! |

There are two seasons in the Maldives.. April to October can be rainy, really wet..it is monsoon season apparently..
Fruit bats are cool, unless they crap on you..
The lizards are tiny as are the occasional shrew.
Apart from that, the wildlife is sparse... Except the marine life.
Avoid any islands near the airport, can be pretty noisy with all the planes and seaplanes leaving/arriving and the ships heading into male at night...
North Mali atoll and the north of south Mali atoll are a boat ride away.. Anywhere else is sea plane to save a bumpy 2 to 5 hour boat journey and it does get bumpy.. The smell of sick can get quite overpowering..
Look for islands with a house reef, not all have them and the seas can be rough, the house reef gives a good calm area to swim and snorkel and also a haven fish, inverts and the baby reef sharks.
Most are all inclusive, definitely a must, was paying $5 for a small bottle of the first time I went 15 years ago. |

Omg reading all these comments, I wish we was back there, imagine if we were all there together, swinging and paradise island.
We had a beach villa, every morning I'd crawl out of bed and crawl down the white soft sand into the sea, because it was only 15ft away.
Did anyone else catch a few hermit crabs and have races with them. |
