"What size is curvy Do you think it is a good idea to add dress size rather than a description, as we find many describe them self as curvy are rather fat, and we should be honest about it What do you guys think ? " I'm fat, can see that in my pics, no dress size required....unless someone is going to buy me clothes

"What size is curvy Do you think it is a good idea to add dress size rather than a description, as we find many describe them self as curvy are rather fat, and we should be honest about it What do you guys think ? " You can be a curvy size 6 or 26. Curvy to have curves. Adding a dress size would make no difference. You can still be fat at any dress size. Yes I am fat but I also have curves, my Boobs are bigger than my belly and my ass is large so I don't fall over. I am also short so I look fatter than if I was taller. It's up to us to describe ours selves as we wish not for others too. This is why we have pictures so we can see.

"Different people would use different definitions. You could have ten women all the same dress size in a room and have no two shapes alike. Throwing more labels at people is unnecessary." This. Also, statistically speaking the UK average is size 16....if you're reading curvy as the next step up from average I'd personally say ladies who are size 18ish would therefore put themselves as curvy....or "rather fat", to you. All of the descriptions are subject to interpretation and are there for how people choose to describe themselves...not how each and every other _iewer would.

"put up public pics and let people decide for themselves of they like the look of you or not. if not that's their problem. no matter what size you are you can't account for everyone's taste. show your pics with pride " Yes but we all know camera do lie most of the time, and we do try to take pic in an angle to make us look good and slim too

" Well saying the average is 16 so 18 is curvy isn't right because the average is over weight since we are talking stats. The average U.K. Female has a BMI that puts them in the overweight category so that's just means 18 is even more over weight. I'm 100% not saying I agree or disagree I'm just talking stats like you are

Even at my biggest it was the case My waist should enable me to fit into size 12, my boobs and bum mean that I'm generally a size 16, occasionally I go up to an 18. We just tend to use different measures for different things and I was unsure if that particular one was usually in inches. Means you need to convert the height first. Not sure it's that accurate. I'm 28-29 waist and a tad under 6"1 (73"). Think that would make me underweight on that system.

People can look at photos and make their own mind up. Exactly this. I'm also a size 18 and have a very different figure to you" It's such a minefield that photos are the only real way to figure it out. If the UK average is 16 (as mentioned above) then that also takes into account the average height, which is 5'5". Someone taller than that will look vastly different at that size than someone shorter and it doesn't even begin to take shape into account. I am 5'5" and a size 14. Yet I'd say I look fatter in photos than either of you two ladies because of where I carry it. I'm still curvy though; it's my shape not my size and I'll be damned if I can't describe myself how I want on here because of someone else's opinion. They can see for themselves how fat I am and if it's someone I actually like and might want to meet you can be damn sure I'll tell them in advance that there are horribly wobbly bits to contend with.

"Dress size wouldn't work for me. I have wide hips and a big bum, I can't wear fitted dresses. My shoulders don't fill out a size 18 dress, my boobs, stomach and bum do. That's the classic pear shape. That's what I say too, although my boobs make me look more hour glass from the front. It's not easy to describe oneself, especially when you are a realist, like me. Pear is nice though. With a flabby stomach that I can't pull in? Losing weight is making it floppier and the epidermal layers have torn, they won't mend and will always sag. Men seem to be hung up on a fat stomach, which often accompanies big boobs and bums. " The only Saluation is nib and tuck But then who want go through that

I always thought that the whole shape thing was just to help people buy flattering shaped clothes, so don't stress about it.. I have trouble with my shoulders in relation to my waist. Unless a shirt is fitted, one that fits my upper torso is baggy on my lower.

"What size is curvy Do you think it is a good idea to add dress size rather than a description, as we find many describe them self as curvy are rather fat, and we should be honest about it What do you guys think ? " You answered the question yourself. People can make up their own minds from looking at pictures so there's not really a need to label yourself or mention dress sizes. A tall lady in a size 18 is going to look a lot slimmer than a short woman in a size 18 so its pointless anyway.

There is way to many people with different interpretations that the only real way is to see at least two full body pics " We like the way you mention I am size 12 without mentioning what we actually said 10/12 so the way you trying to saying that we are misleading we not as size 10 in our opinion is slim. But if all they've put is a boob shot and part of a soft focus leg then the chances of them having given you an accurate weight is very slight I would have thought. I don't really understand why if people feel someone's photos don't give an accurate representation of what they look like, they can't just avoid that profile rather than suggesting more and more things to fill in.
