Put aside many of his early stuff, but dug it out again after watching the tv series ELI STONE. His songs were brought back to life again, New arrangements and some different backing singers somehow made him more accessible. |

Apart from his work with Queen and Band-Aid , my go to George Michael performance would probably be the live duet with Elton John, Don't Let The Sun Go Down.... |

"Careless Whisper
Faith
and also saw Youtube vid this morning of him on Catherine Tate Xmas Show singing "Fairytale of New York " with Nurse Bernadette.... great fun! "
I watched a video of his appearance in Extras last night. Very funny, and self deprecating. |

Heard 'Too Funky' on the radio this morning, i'd forgotten how good it is. Had lots of fun dancing in the lounge to it
Don't really know his albums but someone bought me his 'Ladies & Gentleman' compilation years ago for Xmas. I didn't like him at the time and wondered what the frig they'd bought me that for (they knew me very well). I became a bit of a fan though.

You have been loved and Praying for time. Beautiful both. Beautiful music that in some ways is very similar in feel to some of Sade'. Just quality British music that could have only come out of London in its respective era. Another sad loss. Bless you. |
