it's horrible but we all have to go sometime. Just not in the rapid rate they are dropping at the moment. So sad such a shame.

But for me his performance with Queen at Wembley stadium during the Freddy Mercury tribute was an astonishing demonstration of an amazing talent that I rarely saw in the genres in which he chose to enjoy success,,,,

I was thinking the same. AIDS is rarely given as the cause of death. Heart attack or pneumonia are common but both related to AIDS Given his lifestyle choices it's hardly surprising. Still a great loss.

I went to a show in the 90s at the Royal Albert Hall with Sinaed O'Connor,Tom Jones, The Pretenders,Neil Finn Paul McCartney and others I can't remember. Eventually George Michael came on and sang all the others off the stage. What an incredible voice.
