Started off with bacon sandwiches this morning

Then it will be turkey Yorkshire's roast and mashed potatoes, pigs in blankets and veg,

I've made a giant sausage meat, sage and onion, roasted chestnut wrapped in a couple packs worth of streaky bacon kinda thing with loads of roasted veg and stewed balsamic red cabbage and apple! I can't wait to tuck in to it

Yum, sounds nice!! We're eating late this year so I'm snaffling the pigs in blankets, the turkey is in, the gammon is on, I've got spuds, neeps and shallots in duck fat waiting to go in, brussels and fine beans ready, just got to do the stuffing and make gravy. Oh and a pud to steam and homemade mince pies to heat, brandy cream, and homemade cake which is heavy on the marzipan later!!
