Me and my fwb are planning a weekend away in the new year m. We both like the ide of a weekend break in a log cabin with a hot tub. Any recommendations would be greatful please, also ideally dog friendly.

Google canopyandstars. There are loads of cabins, shepherds huts, yurts etc.

Hoseasons have hundreds and they very often have good deals on offer too or if you work for NHS or local government you get 15% discount too. I had one for a week last June in the lakes and only paid £300!

There are some quite nice ones in the Chilterns.... The Chilterns View, Ewelme Farm - they have a web site.

Also I know the cabins at Sandy Balls are quite good.

Camping in the forest also do them with hot tubs etc. Just booked ours for a Jan break through them

We have used these often both on our own and as a base for weekend meets with other couples.

Wherever you do book use Google earth to take a look at the site. most offer privacy, but some have been built so close together that the tubs are overlooked and you feel the need to stifle noise.

I looked at similar earlier in the year I think the website is cottages with hot tubs. I found for secluded cottages in the south of England you were £500 for a weekend.
