London

I listened to the "best hits" of George Formby the other day when I was driving and I asked Siri (AI assisted) to play "anything by Bruce Hornsby".

That said, it was good to hear the mutterings to musical form of this fantastic motivational singer and self confessed pervert as he sidestepped all manner of rules and regulations over what was deemed "acceptable language" at the time.

I for one would love to see what would happen if some of today's contemporary artists tried to re-write George Formby's ditties but using today's dictionary. I'd sell my kidney to see Snoop Dogg do 'When I'm Cleaning Windows'

Titz Towers, North Notts

Under the blasted Oak. It has fun lyrics and was a nice bonus to one of his films.
