Not sure if I could have sex with anyone who finds it, Micheal MacIntyre or Big Bang Theory funny.

So very unfunny.

But you enjoy

I don't think it requires intelligence to watch

And who watches a sitcom to impress others?!

Fab is so wonderfully bizarre. Tonight we have found out that some people won't have sex with someone unless their teeth are perfect and now we find that the sitcoms you watch are critical to your attractiveness!

I remember being bought a Mighty Boosh DVD by friends who went on and on about how much I'd love it.

Watched it and literally didn't laugh once.

Humour must be a weird thing.

I've got better friends now.

"Everyone said that "

You're not alone - a lot people feel that way about it. I think people who have seen it through a recommendation take it the wrong way. It's not a howling with laughter type of comedy, it's just very amusing. Surreal and silly with quick quips between the characters.

I enjoyed it thoroughly.

But it's a silly assumption that anyone who watches any of the shows mentioned are unable to stimulate the brilliant minds of various fab members.

I'm an intelligent woman, I am able to articulate and converse in intelligent conversation. Admittedly I've never had a meet whereby we've discussed the merits of Michael McIntyre, Mrs Brown's boys or Big Bang in any great detail, or ever mentioned it at all in fact.

I don't watch big bang religiously, but I have seen most of the earlier episodes and I did laugh at the bikini wax scene in Mrs Brown's boys. I even have a penchant for chic lit novels and have read every Jackie Collins book - quelle horreur!

I've watched comedy my whole life, I love comedy more than I love music, and that says a lot.

Comedy for me, is emotional nourishment, and my biggest feasts, were when I did a few 5 minute set at local open mic nights.

Now, a few people here, aren't looking at the full picture here, Mrs browns boys, is basic granted, and among comedians on local circuits, it receives a worse damnation than on here, but for me, this low brow sitcom, is like a Skoda from the 90s, people look down on it, but it does its job, in a no frills way, and is consistent, in short it is funny, its just some people will look for clever over genuinely funny.

As for the person who said morcome and wise aren't funny, why do you think they still put their Christmas shows on every year?

Maybe people are to far away to see that the shows and comedians are funny to many people, may I suggest coming down off they high horse *joke don't get offended*

Because comedians don't just wander out onto a stage and talk, there is a process

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

I`m old enough to remember Monty Pythons Flying Circus when it was first aired. Best part of each show was rubbish but there was a little gem of a sketch in each episode. Perhaps it was clever how they spaced it out, I don`t know. One thing for sure is all you now see repeated are the best bits thank goodness!

It WAS a great watch in the early seasons. Now it's incestuous ( almost ) and as slushy as friends.

I found it very clever and very funny.

I give it a miss nowadays. It's become predictable.

I'm a dub who hails from near where Brendan o Carrol and mrs brown is based . North side wit and humour is sharp and legendary . But mrs brown is shite pure and simple. It's over acted you can see the gags and punchlines miles away it's got that comedy vulgarity that died out in the seventies . It get more comedy ready the daily mail

I hate Mrs Brown's Boys.

However, I know two elderly, outwardly straight-laced elderly ladies who laugh themselves stupid at it. They live in fear of being "outed" as fans in polite society.

One is my mother. I love the fact she loves it and it makes her laugh like mad. I'm conflicted as a result.

If she ever said she liked Michael MacIntyre I'd have to disown her and break off all contact though - heinous crime.
