I can see where you're coming from, but even as a couple we take precautions.
We don't give out any personal mformation. We don't really send out tons of photos and most importantly we don't ever give out personal numbers. We have a separate phone.
To put it bluntly, if someone said they are STD free you wouldn't believe them and still make them wear a condom. It's no different to any other aspect of this. You protect yourself because no one else is going to.
