Much prefer a longer, and well written, profile - not only does it give you a feel for the person, but also gives you points to refer to if you do decide to contact them.

As for face pics being insisted on, I guess it depends whether you want to feel an attraction to the person you're hoping to get intimate with or not, whilst it's not the ultimate deciding factor, anyone that says physical attraction doesn't come into it is either lying or doesn't care who they get intimate with - neither of which are particularly appealing to me.

I quite like a bit of a profile because if a woman can't write one then it suggests she thinks she's so desirable that she doesn't need one. She doesn't care what the guys think about her because it's only what they can do for her that's important. Now that may be true but it's not really for me.

Having said all that the one woman I've been chatting to the longest literally has no profile (but good pics) so it's not a hard and fast rule...lol

If you don't like long, well written profiles....then don't read them.

Many of us like to give a bit of a hint about who we are so that the people we are conversing with have an insight into the individual they might just be having sex with in the future.

That's not for everyone, so if you find some profiles are too long for you to take in....the person in question is probably not compatible either.

Same feeling here. However, you do see some long profiles which are boring, and that's part of what the OP is complaining about.

Just that it's pretty much subjective what one considers to be boring or interesting.

So best thing to do is : if you don't like a particular profile; skip to the next one.

Ok whilst mine is a long profile one of the most important factors I'm looking for is in the first sentence and guess what the majority of my messages are from people who can't be bothered to read the first sentence along with the friend requests. So to be honest a lot of people will just look at pics won't read the profile and if they are able to will then message!

This isn't "instashag", most people on here are looking to explore pleasure and to me that does include finding out what each party enjoys, and wants to try.
