simple question....
Favourite Beatles song ever...
2 rules....

'They suck' ?.....guess we are all entitled to our opinion of course but the true measure of any band is not necessarily whether you like them or not but what influence they had on everyone else around them !!.... 'in my life' our fav song |

I just cant choose all their songs are brilliant ,if it wasnt for the beatles modern pop culture wouldnt exist.songs that have valid meaning in their words forty plus years on.btw george harrison was underrated as a singer/songwriter |

yep very true and did you know just one george harrison penned song was made a single which was the brilliant something in 1969.only made number 4 but by the time of its release the beatles had allready split .he did however have the first post beatles number one with my sweet lord in 71 |

yeh he was sued.he also wrote while my guitar gently weeps and taxman and both of those could have been made singles |

Funny seeing this thread, I played about six Beatles tracks at a 1960s 70s disco I did on Bank Holiday sunday, difficult to pick just one, but I will go for,
I should have known better.
Always goes down well with the punters!

Not actually a Beatles song its a cover version of Barret Strongs 1959 single.
So many to choose from but I think my favourite would be Penny Lane. |
