it had to run out sometime.
maybe once all this stuff finally ends companies will get back to making much better tv programmes than cheap 'lets take the piss out of people' ones.

I think the whole format has run it's course and it's more about the egotistical judges than the acts these days. Why not bring back and good old fashioned talent show that lasts for exactly.... one hour and has a winner. |

It goes in phases, like X Factor. People said X Factor was done when Steve Brookstein won but that was just the fallow year leading to Leona Lewis and Alexander Burke.
Still plenty of life in the format yet. |

Britain has got talent. It's just that they dont want to get turned down and be upstaged by a weirdo with a back story. I'm gonna enter next time and when they ask if I think I can win I'll say " well, I stand as much chance as rest of the shite you've put through to the next stage!" |

"young lad on now is fantastic "
I don't think he can take that act much further though unless he gets the chance to erect a much bigger set and really get some speed up.
The pianist was good but better in his audition and he played a piece of music that I've been trying to find out what it is for years - and I still don't know!! grrrr.

Theres too many sob stories portrayed. Im not being harsh but its a talent show, not a who's had the worst life show. I dont think we should see anything to do with their lives, just the actual act. |

only thing people in britain are good at is being lazy.
which explains why companies send work abroad and the benefit system is a complete mess with loads claiming who should be working.
communties are so much poorer these days and its all because of the 'me first' attitude. |

The way we see it, there shouldn't be any singers on B.G.T, that's what X Factor is for.
B.G.T should be for all variety acts bar singers in our opinion.
Just watched Jean Martyn on the keyboard, now there's a lady who definitely brings out the feel good factor, she's a smile maker!

Last night was the first time I have watched this show and I was absolutely horrified!!!
It was a semi-final and there was some skank who vaguely resembled Britney Spears but with a giant forehead screeching incoherently. And the nightmarish couple that wouldn't stop cheesy smiling and tap danced with their hands.
If this is representative of the talent in Britain right now then God help us if a Talent World War breaks out, we will be annexed by a more talented country like erm Portugal or Armenia. |

Simon just told James Hobley that he told Leona Lewis last week that James would be dancing to her song.
At the beginning of the programme Simon said he had no idea who was on the show tonight.

I didn't watch the auditions but hell's bells is this crop really the best of the bunch?!!
In previous years you were spoilt for choice, this year it's been awful rubbish. So far only two acts have impressed me: the impressionist and the Scottish bloke last night, Jai.
The fact they're both hot too has nothing to do with it! |

It has been pretty dire hasn't it. I think Cowell summed it up when he said all the acts were crazy and it was time to come back to planet Earth.
I thought the scottish guy singing nursery rhymes to popular song tunes was a unique act but not really good enough to win it. The telephone guy was just plain rubbish and reminded me of someone's grandad dancing at a wedding reception.
The Uni grads should have gone through but I thought their audition was better than their performance last night.
Haven't seen the Army drummers yet, did they even get through? Reports in the press said that some acts we saw getting through were subsequently told by phone they hadn't made it after all. |

dancers and singers have won before.. wheres ther variety in the show
as much as i think they are talented acts the 'x factor' is for singers and 'so you think you can dance' is for dancers |

just think the reality shows made by simon cowell are crap now.
i was a fan of the x factor and bgt but no more.
what amuses me more is when the judges complain that rubbish novilty acts make it through to finals and better contestants leave... well YOU picked them in the first place

Well, that's 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back: I'm outting myself as a timewaster!
The "anticipated" dance off was an anti-climax. I hadn't seen either acts before but big whoop: I make similar contortions getting off the sofa, out of the bath etc. |

The thing is though, good dancer or not, the show is BRITAINS Got Talent.
He's French and lives in France.
At least the Romanian dancer lives in Manchester and the Aussie hula hoop lass lives in London.
That said, Razy nailed it tonight.
