Getting nearer! Who is genuinely looking forward to Christmas day and who will be glad when it's over and why. Me personally, love the day itself, but today have been hearing people moaning about it in the shops and I suppose that is the problem, knowing what to buy everybody! |

Yeah I am. It'll start with having fun with the Cubs opening prezzies followed by a frantic search for the right battery and then it'll degenerate into chaos!! As soon as the cocktails start to flow it's be fine. Just hope I don't burn the bird or poison anyone |

Me too. I love the family day, but the run up to it, is a nightmare |

Woke today at my parents in Pembroke by my nephew wanting to play. We had a play fight for half an hour then went food shopping with my Mum.
Half way around Tesco
finally started to feel Christmasy |

Love Mrs Brown's boys. Used to watch it with my 84 year old Mum, she loved it too! First year we won't watch it together. |

For me it means being off work, eating ALL of it and daytime drinking ...
These are all good things but boring after one day!
Overdosing on Family, shopping and
Spending far too much money is ridiculous behaviour!
Christmas is on steroids these days |

I love Christmas -- can't wait! But I'm incredibly lucky as it's a happy family time and not everyone has that opportunity. So I'm very thankful too.
Merry Christmas everyone. |

I love Christmas I look forward to seeing my kids faces when they open their presents. This is the 2nd year where I decided to do what I want which means no visiting others and having no visitors...except my mum
We stay in oureal pj's till we want and dinner is served whenever we feel like it and we watch crap TV and eat too much and generally have a good time. Merry Christmas. X |

I'm getting excited about Christmas this year. It's the first Christmas in years and years and years that hubby and I will be having Christmas in our own home as we're from opposite ends of the country.
My mum and dad are spending Xmas with us for the first time ever which although stressful has me really excited
Hope you all have the most magical of days xx |

Always a fair few fights in Pembroke over Christmas . If you can feel Christmassy at that branch of Tescos (or any for that matter), you are a better person than me - I lost the will to live in there on Tuesday!
Sorry, I'm in the "bah humbug" camp these days - simply because it goes on forever. I remember being a teenager and my dear old mum being shocked when someone put their decorations up on the 1st of December. Those were the days!
I also foresee a Brexit-based argument on Christmas Day at my relatives place - it'll be a miracle if if we get through it without one. There'll probably be a toast to Michael Gove or something.
I try to ignore Christmas as much as possible and disappear for extensive, isolated walks on the coast path etc.
I don't begrudge others enjoying it though . |

Ha, my Mum used to work in the one in Pembroke Dock. We went to the big'un in Haverford West. Rammed insanity but we had quite a laugh |

Yeah, I went to the former. Trolley rage lurking under the surface at all times. H'west would have been a step too far. I'll always cherish that one for being where I first met up with a woman farmer from the Hills who was on Fab.
I do love the Dirty Dock though (to give it its proper name) - I know lovely folks there. |
