Anyone who will put an over boiled tasteless sprout on their Christmas dinner, but say "Yorkshire pudding is only for beef" quite frankly has no placevat my table, in my circle of friends, or in my life.
Ooh, if anyone is having a party, and struggling for something interesting try pulled beef in red wine gravy, served in miniature Yorkshire puddings, make lots though because there may be a fight for them |

"I'm having fillet steak and chips for my Christmas dinner so no i won't be having them I do love them though
Reallllyyy? How come? Hope it's worth missing Christmas dinner for lol"
I'm eating alone so no point doing the turkey thing plus I prefer steak |

"So long as someone else cooks em I'll eat em
Aunt Bessie cooks mine
You cheater lol"
I have made ma own in the past, but it's too much faffing about to be fair. I'm doing a joint of silverside for Xmas day and all the trimmings, so there'll be more than enough pots for me to wash up |

I will have Yorkies on any roast apart from a turkey Xmas dinner..Probably coz there's so much other stuff there's no room on the plate.
I use ready made because mine come out like perfect cup cakes! |

"Not with a Turkey dinner! If you're having beef for Christmas dinner than fair enough, but it isn't one of the official Christmas trimmings. "
I love the idea of an official trimmings list! |

I was out for my Christmas lunch with work yesterday and not only were there no Yorkshire Puddings... there were no pigs in blankets and no cranberry sauce!
What the actual fuck?!
*writes letter of complaint* |

"You decadent bunch, not with Turkey!!! Gammon and neeps and spuds and sprouts and HEAPS of stuffing but no Yorkies! "
We have them with a Sunday roast but not on Christmas Day... that's pretty normal I think. |

The official list might just be in my head, but it's definitely official |

You're getting a list of our dinner plans later. Don't want to fall foul of an official list! |

Do you work for the Yorkshire Pudding Appreciation Society or something?? I never said I don't like them. They're just not something that features on my Christmas table. Quite why that fact has anything to do with whether I'm a "great guy" or not, I've no idea?!
Happy Christmas

A pub local to us used to make great hot beef sandwiches with Yorkshire puddings.

If we didn't have Yorkshire puddings there would be a riot in my household. Sprouts would be thrown and carrots would get shoved where the sun don't shine. I'm not taking the risk!
And don't mention the unspeakable - forgetting the stuffing |
