Brighton - even Hove!

That's later. It's grey here with a light breeze, I'd say a 4, Mr Beaufort.

I'm on the exposed west coast, looking at the Atlantic, with the next stop America here. As ever, praying for the poor folks in the south-east at this scary time. Be safe, be strong - you'll get through it. You're a tough people

Being serious - I do love a good _torm. So long as people don't get hurt, or lose property of course.

Why is it that Hurricanes are named after women?

Because when they come they're wet and windy and when they leave they take your house

Hurricane arse fisting orifice smasher would be a better name

Can't grumble too much here - it was the nicest autumn I can remember here in West Wales. Loads of stunningly beautiful days and sunsets.

Shortest day today too.

Here in Snowdonia, facing the coast, the winds are howling in and the hailstones are clattering against the roof and the windows...

But the Solstice comes and from now on the days are opening out!

Can't beat Snowdonia when the weather is wild Annie. Can be scary on top of a mountain - but worth it
