I didn't actually answer the question. Fav band.....I will have to think about this....
Rammstein albums are good....their live act is certainly sensational....but it lacks the band crowd interface....
I'm back to Skindred again... |

Yeah forgot I saw all of these too. Having worked in the rock radio and festival industry, one forgotten who I've seen to be honest. |

Lacks crowd interface? I got my hand slapped by flake at a rammstein gig does that count? |

Very true! I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to share a few glasses of JD with the lads from Skindred after a gig quite a few years ago and I remember thinking the same about him then!
As for fav band, its a no brainer really, Slipknot all the way!! Although Machine Head and Korn are in my top 5 also |

Far too many to list.
Favourite gig was probably Tool or Slayer. Glad I saw Marilyn Manson live even though I'm not the biggest fan. Seen Maiden and Sabbath too.
Not a huge Slipknot fan, for a band that are mostly about the stage show rather than the music they're pretty boring live.
I'd most like to see Jack Off Jill live. Missed their tour a few years back |

We are not full on metal heads. We are Bullet For My Valentine and SOAD fans and we've seen them a few times.
See Maiden, Slayer, Ac/dc etc.
Did help that we had Sonisphere right on our doorstep for a couple of years.
Would say there metal but we would love to go see Seether again, especially if Skindread came out and did Remedy again.

AC/DC best band in the world and seen them three times! Gutted I didn't see them with Axl as I heard they were on fire.
But they're not metal |

Motörhead. First saw them in 1987, last saw them in 2012, and took my daughter to see them twice.
With the exception of Metallica, the only other metal bands I've seen were supporting Motörhead and included Saxon and Anthrax; they were okay, but I wouldn't have gone just to see them.
Got to see Metallica in an exclusive BBC (no, not that sort) back in 2008, I think. |

Seen too many to list but I think Rammstein tops my list, epic live performance.
Currently listening to Behemoth, Belphegor, Vader - you know, cheerful, melodic stuff.
Wish I could see Pantera with Dimebag tho

It varies. I've been listening to this stuff for thirty years now, so there's been quite a lot of 'em!
Currently listening to Mutation's brand new third album "Dark Black", Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons' debut EP and Dirtbox Disco's PeopleMadeOfPaper (more punk than metal, but I'm a man of varied tastes) |

I'm more of a rock guy than metal, although my favourite album is the black one by metallica but that the hardest I like to listen too. HAd marilyn manson's greatest hits bought for me a few years back and it blew me away!

Impossible to say who my favorite band are, there's a band for every mood!
Again, I have seen many bands live. First band I ever saw live was Clawfinger, so they hold special place in my heart gig-wise
I would love to see Faith No More, as they have evaded me so far |

-sniff- Metal thread?
Awwww yeah.
Favourite is Iron Maiden
Best I saw was Nine Inch Nails at Reading '13 (Just had a sickening realisation it's been three years since I've been to a festival as I type this.)
I had been hoping to go see Avenged Sevenfold this month at the O2 but tickets were gone in seconds. Great line up too as it had In Flames and Disturbed playing. |
