Given the huge amounts of mail some people get, there is the possibility that it has gotten lost amongst all their other messages and they may, in fact, be of the view that you haven't replied to them.
Sometimes too, messages can disappear from large, inundated inboxes

It might have been short enough to read without opening it and too dull to reply to. Who knows? |

Ooo, actually I do this. If you're a site supporter you can read their last message without opening it by clicking on the previous. |
