Who else hates sitting in waiting for parcels. This is the third day of doing it and not one has arrived before 4pm. Is it too much to ask for them to be delivered in a morning. |

I think its time were all had transporter rooms in our basements like the one on Star-trek .... I mean we've already got the lycra and the personal communicators ..... |

You get your 9am's 10am's, 12pm's and then everything else is done to fit round those and the rest of the route. If you've not paid for a timed service, you're basically in a 12hr delivery window- if you're lucky, you might get one of the courier companies that will give you a time slot- otherwise.....

It seams out post recently is only arriving after 5pm! Which to be honest is a good idea realy as they understand most people are at work during the day |

What you have to bear in mind is that most multidrop driver can have as many as 200+ stops. If they waited 5 minutes at every door, they'd deliver half of their allocation.
The wife works in courier logistics so I've seen the rough deals the drivers get on routes, and the pressures from higher ups to deliver more and more in a single day. |
