It's 25 yeas since the Penlee Lifeboat disaster.

I know there's lots of calls for charitable giving at this time of year but please don't forget the RNLI and other local lifeboats. You never know when they may launch for you or your family.

We donate regularly to the RNLI. They do an amazing job.

The Only emergency sevice I give to , truly unsung Heros all of them .

Saturday 19th of December 1981 , 35 years since the crew of eight was lost on the Solomon Browne .

I am in the merchant navy (joined 1975)

So as you will understand the RNLA are very close to my heart , and always will be .
