I assisted a French man in a car park.

But only to help with the parking rules and to let him know that today it was free. Parking that is.

Leeds

Today I bought a humane mousetrap for £10 to catch the mouse alive so he can be released back into the wild rather than one for £3 that would kill the mouse.

I went to pump my tyres up and the machine takes 20p coins for this. Everytime I go, I leave a 20 p coin on top of the machine for the next driver.

It makes me smile knowing my very very small gesture could genuinely help someone out.

Not today but I try to do a random nice act as often as I can . Last one was outside supermarket . Overheard a little girl ask her mum to go on the little ride , mum replied I haven't got any change so as I walked past I gave the mum a £1 and said she's too cute to not get a go, smiled and walked into shop

Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

I (LB) was driving past a row of old peoples bungalows when an old man flagged me down. He asked if I could help as he'd pressed the wrong button on his remote and couldn't get any picture back on his tv. I parked up and sorted it for him and gave him a lesson on the right buttons to press and left with a couple of Tunnocks wafers, a weird cake bar (he insisted) and a hand shake.

Every Christmas I give a shoebox hamper to a homeless person and have a good old chat with them. They are people after all and some of the nicest people I have met. It makes me feel good knowing they now have food and a warm blanket during this cold time of year.
