What do you buy for yours?
Princess Lily the Minx has a Dreamies selection pack from my mum and a pet selfie props kit from me. And she'll get prawns (her favourite) for Christmas dinner. |

I've been shopping around to find a new scratching post. I bought a little one when she arrived but she's pretty much destroyed it. It's the only thing she's destroyed so I thought I'd buy her a new one. I just can't decide whether to get a tree thing or just a giant post. |

I was just thinking about this the other day.
My dogs get a stocking full of treats. It's what they appreciate most. We also take them on super long walks on Christmas day and give them meat for dinner. |

My cat has a Christmas bow tie. Turns out cats aren't big on neckwear either. |

"Are you really buying presents for your pets, or buying them for yourselves, by proxy ?
Can a goldfish understand why there's a new pineapple at the bottom of the sea ? "
My dogs completely understand a stocking full of treats and a cut of beef for dinner |

Someone gave me one of those lion mane things for my cat... after a disasterous attempt at a collar when she arrived I decided to pass it on! |

For Xmas a couple of years back friends got a little knitted pink cock and balls filled with catnip.
It was obscene to see the kitties going mad, rubbing, licking, drooling over this little cock and balls.

Lots of people have cats....
My hairy babies (dogs) just some treats wrapped up in newspaper to open and a toy. Chickens get freash meal worms, not the dryed they have all year round and are gecko will prob get something new in the tank.
I make liver cake for my dogs and wrap them up for our family's pets which is 5 dogs and 6 cats.
Very sad i know. but I don't spoil mine and the dogs love opening presents! |

Dog will help its self to left over meat and the cats will get something but unsure what. They won't touch the scratch post bought last year they much prefer the horrible wall paper up the stairs. Debating getting one of them radiator beds as they always falling asleep on them |

"Pets are family.
"
My pets are my only family, but they know I love them all year round. Christmas just means I get to spend even more time with them because I'm off work |

My cat will be evicted from the dining room which is her domain most of the year, her scrunched up foil and paper balls that have lived in various corners and behind things ready to ambush her at any time unless she keeps careful watch and pounces on them to maintain order will all be tidied up and lost from her world. Dinner snacks and lap time will be a nightmare of wrong people and worse children.
But it's OK boxing day she can get back to recreating her world as it should be. |

I am sure all the pets will be glad to share in the good news that our Lord sent his son down to save us.
Except that is all bollocks and animals couldn't comprehend it anyway.
Yes, we are dead inside. We know..

"Nothing.
The cat has no more concept of Xmas than she does of her own 'birthday'.
I'm sure there'll be some leftovers floating around."
Congratulations! You're not mad... |

My two cats will get a new toy each. They do have their favourite toys, the youngest has a little furry white mouse and the eldest has a soft felt mouse.
I know they don't understand it's Christmas but they know something out of the ordinary is happening and want to be involved.
A few years ago i didn't get presents for the cat (didn't have the younger one then). He spent all day pestering me for his present. He didn't understand why all the people got new stuff and he had nothing. I had to hand make him a new felt mouse while he sat and watched me. He played with it for about an hour before he disappeared for the evening. I never forgot to buy cat presents again, its so much easier |

"I'm cooking my dogs homemade peanut butter dog treats (perfectly safe for dogs).
My cat is getting a hobbit costume cause his name is Bilbo "
Its a very brave person (or foolish) who tries to dress a cat in a costume.
I tried once, it didn't end well for me. I still have the scars |

I have managed to convince Ali that our Westie Rosie needs a VR headset for my PlayStation 4 as she's really bored with the games I have already and would like a change |

A world all of his own |
I usually buy my sisters staffie a bloody great big bone (cows leg or something) which the sod can smell half a mile away. He then goes bonkers trying to get it, in the bag with the rest of the presents I never learn lol. |
