So my guy just proposed I said yes!! But wants to by my ring for Xmas! Is that fair ( I'm not materialistic but think using Xmas as an excuse to buy the ring is tight) so I said let's wait till new yr!! Am I right or wrong |

Only you guys can decide what's right for your relationship, but it seems a bit cringey to me to demand a ring as a separate present.
Marc didn't even buy me a ring, he gave me one his brother had bought, but it was still meaningful and special to me. But, as I said, everyone has different things they value and only you guys can decide what's ok in your relationship. |

I'd be happy with a haribo ring! Just saying Christmas gifts are what they are yeah I'd get a ring but if he proposed any other time of year shud inwait till Xmas for said ring??? Couldn't care less about the jewellery it's the sentiment |

I would be over the moon if my FWB proposed to me and gave me a ring for Christmas.....I would be too beside myself with joy to think about a gift. I definitely wouldn't ask him to wait till new year. XXX |

I'm over the moon but dampens it when he said al get u a ring for Xmas! I don't even own 1 item of Jewery it's not about that but well yeah I'm getting an engagement ring for Xmas |

My ex put my engagement ring at the bottom of my Christmas stocking n proposed when I opened it. I thought it was going to be some earrings I asked for. Xxx |
