.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape or a bottle of Valpolicella but I'd rather have rum or sloe gin.

I only drink wine whist I'm doing some batch cooking, but when I do it's usually a Cabernet Sauvignon or a Merlot

White.

I'm not fussy as long as it's cold and wet.

Either/or as long as it doesn't burn the roof of my mouth off or make me gag.

There and to the left a bit

Always prefer red, find most white wines too acidic

There are lots of wine I haven't tried, if you want to experiment a little, South American Malbecs are usually quite nice...at the moment their are some great Suavignon Blancs on offer, Brancott Estate at Asda and Co-op, on offer at around £6, usually £9-£10, Marksies have a Suavignon Blanc 'Silver Frond' £6, usually £12, both are gorgeous.....of all the supermarkets, the Co-op, have an excellent wine buyer and offer the best value
