We see a lot of adverts asking for money to help care for these poor creatures .....but in all honesty I can't remember the last time I saw what appeared to be a neglected animal around the area I live.....

West Wales

Our boy is a rescue & there is a rescue place just up the road, probably 60+ dogs on there at any one time and usually 80% staffies. Most are soft as shit. Staffies get a bad rep because of the large number of knobs that own them as a status thing unfortunately. I believe I also read somewhere that the RSPCA almost put staffies to sleep as a standard procedure as they are difficult to rehome so a lot do not even get the chance. The home up the road takes staffies from the RSPCA when they can..

Maybe the RSCPA should put down staffie owners instead

My daughters god is doing great, she has not failed to walk it once, and her social anxiety has much improved, so I would say rescue a dog if you can, it'll be beneficial to both of you.

Or even better, get your dad to rescue one for you and have him pay all of iyts vet bills, its food, it's toys, its bed its dental sticks and obedience classes, and still call it "my dog" as if daddy has nothing to dobwith it

Its the church of the 11 commandments, they believe that man should not be pedantic, and post an "amusing" comment on a post pretending to have taken a spelling mistake literally, they were heavily oppressed by the grammar Nazis during the war of tyhe words.

a quandary, could you change my mind?

"We see a lot of adverts asking for money to help care for these poor creatures .....but in all honesty I can't remember the last time I saw what appeared to be a neglected animal around the area I live.....

Is that not because the multitude of animal rescue / re-homing charities do a pretty good job of dealing with this in the UK, although animals are mistreated on a daily basis but it is still better here than other countries around the world.

Just because we don't see it happening doesn't mean it's not.

Could well be the case...
