God that a hard one for us both.
E would be Seether and The Used.
M would be Green Day, Coheed and Cambria and Bullet For My Valentine.
But we both have a massive soft spot for early Paramore (my God Hayley Williams ) |

Kasabian are probably one of the most played for me at the mo. But there are so many different bands that I listen to daily. And it's a very eclectic mix. |

I realised recently that all of the bands/ albums that I like are at least 10 years old so I'm trying out new ones at the moment just so I don't feel so bloody old |

We saw them a few years ago and they were amazing. Was going to go for our 10th anniversary bit they sold in minutes (was very pissed off and the hotel heard alot of swearing) and I'm not paying the stupid rates there going for |

If you're talking band that I have seen the most and have followed for 35 plus years then it would be Madness.
If you're talking band I currently listen to the most then it would probably be Biffy Clyro or Green Day or maybe Muse |

"That's so difficult and depends on my mood... Pixies maybe!? "
Same with me. Going through a Bring Me The Horizon phase at the minute but then like the Pete Tong album of house classics with an orchestra. |

Huey Lewis and the News
Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor. |

The Beach Boys
Brian Wilson's songwriting and arrangements were extraordinary between 1965-1973.
Don't think anyone's matched his talents in popular music then or since. Those harmonies, man!
Other members of the band, like Dennis Wilson and Brian Johnston wrote gorgeous songs in that period too. |

Of current bands Frank Turner and Skinny Lister are the only bands I make an effort to travel further than London to see.
Having spent over 25 years watching Neds, Wonder Stuff, Carter USM and Levellers gigs I guess I must be quite in to them
But little will ever beat my love of The Smiths, The Clash and Joy Division as the bands I listen to the most |

"AFI but most people have no idea who they are but Davey Havok the lead singer is soo hot.
The less said about Mr's music taste the better."
AFI were great. Loved Miss Murder and Davey was indeed seriously hot |

Lots of cracking bands listed, I'd go for 90% of those. Nice to see a wide and varied collection of tastes, bands that are truly good will always appeal across the board.
Fulfilled a teenage dream and witnessed The Specials in concert this year........oh boy did I dance like a teenager with no cares in the world. |

This!!! I saw The Specials at the SODO Showbox in September, absolutely brilliant, danced like a loon and left dripping sweat. Best gig I've been to in a long while. |

Blur, Beatles, beach boys, beck, Bowie. All innovative, never stood still, took risks. Weird how there all B's!
Six by Mansun, fave album.
Love ska, blues and soul.
Old clich'e, there are only two types of music, good and bad. |

Always a tough one this, I'd say probably James for me, but I'm a huge fan of anything early 90's from that indie era. Carter, neds, PWEI, blur and oasis. But then I start to think about the ska influences I listed to as a kid, madness, specials, the beat, selector. Then it's easy for me to move into reggae influences Bob marley, UB40.
I did say this was a tough one!!
Then I think how can I leave out earlier influences like the who and the jam.
I'm not even gonna start on modern day bands or I will be here a week lol !! |

Too too difficult. Maybe Belle and Sebastian or Kate Bush if forced. Or Nirvana. Or maybe Foo fighters. Fleetwood Mac? Morrissey perhaps. Pulp. No I can't choose but I've heard a lot of Slade in the last few days. |
