There and to the left a bit |
Finally getting a bit more credit but criminally underrated for years and written off as that band with the funny videos and catchy singles, when in fact there was, and is, so much more to them, especially on some very deep and sublime album tracks I'd have to nominate Madness who really are a lot more than a good time party band. |

"Bewitched and 5Star,,,, "
I was so into 5Star as a teenager - mind you, this was when they were at their peak.
System Addict still sounds great - I've even played it at the odd gig or two - will probably get an airing on New Years Eve too, as the pub i'm playing are all into 80's stuff |

Janes Addiction
"
And there place in history is often overlooked, without Janes Addiction and The Pixies, Nirvana would never have been the success they were |

"Bright eyes. "
Amazing band, saw them a couple of years ago in Manchester amazing! The new Conor Oberst album is fantastic too, once described as this generations Bob Dylan, yet criminally underrated |

"Theory of a Deadman. Amazing band but so few have heard of them."
Fatima Mansions, fantastic but also unheard of. Sometimes there's no justice in the world. |

"Seether (although loved their stuff when they were called Saron gas)"
We second this! By far the most underrated band going (not bias only seen them a few times). Also we think Coheed and Cambria are especially when you read the comic books to go along the albums |

I know my sister is a big fan of coheed, I've not listend to them much.
I have a slight obsession with south Africa so that's why I love seether... The Mr is still getting use to it ha ha |

"The dead weather.....has any one even heard of them lol "
Yep they're pretty good. I'd nominate Unknown Mortal Orchestra and the Violent Femmes. They don't nearly get the mainstream recognition I think they could easily get. |
