Time has elapsed since my last post evoked some strong opinions.

Interested in any feed back. Have you like me find these unfortunate people with unisex names to be confused resulting in being untrustworthy on occasions.

In both my fab and real life the diminutive I go by is a unisex one. In real life I like to see the look of surprise on someone's face when they see me after a work related email, realise their mental image of me was male and adjust accordingly. It amuses me.

I don't see how becoming a nomenclaturial catalyst for people to do some rapid internalising about gender preconceptions they may not have known they had associated with my work rôle would naturally render me untrustworthy. But you'd have to ask people who know me about that; my own viewpoint on my trustworthiness is far too subjective.

No, of course I can't speak for all.

From your previous threads, I didn't see anyone agreeing with your premise.

So, while I only speak for myself, I think the majority support my view.

But I know that this will not stop you persisting. You are somewhat obsessed.

Not about agreement it's a debate. Unisex named people fall into confused brackets. And findings find tip scales towards being untrustworthy and I'm finding argumentative tends to be prevalent.

I can't speak for your friends. You know them better than I. You seem confused though if having to ask a complete stranger on a swinger site. A hand shake I Fi do can be an indicator. The wet fish handshake is used by many unisexed named people.

Mersey Man is not wholly masculine as a name either though. The Mersey element derives from old Anglo-Saxon and means boundary river, a phrase that combines neutral and feminine words. So your user name in grammatical terms is neuter, feminine and masculine. So since you chose a unisex username for yourself are you untrustworthy OP?

You have had many debates. Noone agrees with you. Debate over. There's been plenty. Why so aggressive?

Why so obsessive? Your pursuit of my findings. You say obsessive. It's a debate therfore dynamic. Hence I reply.

Would it help the dynamic debate to suggest that if your name is Bob it really doesn't matter? No that would be untrustworthy as it isn't . You are confused

I am absolutely not confused. You seem to have an obsession with this name thing. Does anyone else? Far from it and how can you or I speak for all....

Have you ever received any confirmation of your obsession on your threads here?"

Eh?

"We have friends, Andi who's married to Andrew and Toni who's married to Anthony, both men wear their wives knickers, they seem very trustworthy but we're not sure at all. Care to advise us OP? Grassy ass. I can't speak for your friends. You know them better than I. You seem confused though if having to ask a complete stranger on a swinger site. A hand shake I Fi do can be an indicator. The wet fish handshake is used by many unisexed named people. "

Now you mention it, the wet fish thingymebob is the absolute giveaway

"Mersey Man is not wholly masculine as a name either though. The Mersey element derives from old Anglo-Saxon and means boundary river, a phrase that combines neutral and feminine words. So your user name in grammatical terms is neuter, feminine and masculine. So since you chose a unisex username for yourself are you untrustworthy OP? Confusion reigns. Christian names. "

Again, I fail to see how a name given to you at birth and/or shortened to a unisex one by other people makes someone more untrustworthy than one who has chosen an ambiguously gendered username, even if it was chosen unwittingly. The former is accidental, the latter is deliberate choice.

As the thread says interested in findings. Mine sway to untrustworthy confusion . Regards Masculine n Feminine that's not an issue it's the unisex name the issue. The Mersey being extremely tenious . Go through my profile you'll find plenty of feminine n masculine words that's not the issue. Christian names I repeat....

Who was it (with a unisex name) that hurt you so badly? Its bordering on obsession, or research for an academic institution.

If unisex names confuse this poor old chap, I bet unisex bathrooms cause him to have heart failure...

My finding on those with unisex Christian names is that they don't differ to other people in the slightest due to their name, either in terms of trustworthiness, limpness of handshake or any of the other negative character traits you seem to want to imbue them with. The ongoing confusion seems to be unique to you.

"Oh OP, you so and so.

I'm hoping there are more feminine names that confuse you. Nowt confusing about a feminine name.... "

Look at Shirley Crabtree, in his prime I would not have wanted to annoy him.
