Why? A professional chef has cooked a meal, and based on the sight of it, someone decides that every part of it needs more salt.
I've always been curious about this. You must be correct, otherwise you'd be making your meals inedible and would therefore learn, so it must be some sort sort superpower... |

I like the taste of the salt itself, I used to put it on top of custard when I was a child and I like to dip a wetted finger onto the bowl of Himalayan salt I have next to my cooker and crunch the grains.
The last time I ate anything cooked by a professional chef was in the 90's at a restaurant in Oxford. Most places I can afford now don't have professional chefs, just good cooks, like me. |
