What has been the best gift you've recieved either as an adult or child or both ?

For me it would have been my Atari as a child and a trip to St.Andrews to play the Old Course as an adult

I have always loved hats and when i was about 12 I had a cap for a prezzie and when I unwrapped it my mother had hidden a gold signet ring inside it

As an adult I can't think of anything that stands out tbh so I'm still waiting on that one

London

Can't remember much as a child but as an adult who worked 13 hour shifts in the NHS, a whole day off was the best prezzie. Almost all of the photos of me on Christmas Day have me in uniform and bleary eyed.

I was 7/8 and was desperate for a my little pony show stable. It was very expensive at the time and sold out everywhere. I really thought I wasn't going to get one but good old santa delivered the goods and I was over the moon. I think I was up at 3am and I was found fast asleep in the morning, surrounded by the box and all the contents

those were the good days when you couldn't sleep because you're too excited for Christmas

happy memories of trying to record the Top 40 without getting the DJ talking over the songs. Putting headphones on and recording myself singing only for my step-dad to hear me as he toddled off to the loo and telling me i couldn't sing, that i was so out of tune it hurt his ears.
