Hmm I don't know brum's not so bad once you've established the difference between the Wolverhampton accent and the Birmingham one (sorry to any Wolverhampton people)
I quite like welsh accents (proper welsh not scwelsh like mine) and Scottish and Irish but unfortunately I cant understand broad Scottish or Irish but im happy to just listen and nod every now and then |

Yes , there are people from certain areas that we wouldn't dream of meeting as their accents just grate. |

Scwelsh?"
Scouse-welsh: slightly welshy at times but then scouse when I say back and other words that end with 'c' or 'k' is the only way I can describe it. Oh I sometimes sound a little bit northern too |

I've lived and worked abroad since 2003, I have noticed that my accent is one of my biggest assets, (insert sexual innuendo here) for some unbeknown reason my Irish accent has the ability to put people instantly at ease. It has opened a lot of doors for me in the past and quite a few legs too
Southern Irish is a sexy accent
Dublin accents are the sexiest in Ireland
North side Dublin accents are the sexiest in Dublin.
Lucky me, but I can't take all the credit, Colin Farrell and Connor McGreger played there part too. |

I'm not having this again mate!!! Dublin isn't the sexiest in Ireland it's Donegal accents and it's Daniel O'Donnell that we have to thank you
I do agree that a good Irish accent does put people at ease |

"Why do so many ppl like an Irish accent ? I hate it , I have one .. Welsh, London and Italian for me ..
Most people don't like their own accent. I hate mine and I'm working hard to ditch it. "
I love mine, even if I had to neutralise it a little so people could understand me. |

What an epic response from you all. ?????? I think the Irish accent has won the day.
It seems to me that an accent can be quite a turn on, if it's the write one for you that is.
I really enjoyed reading your thoughts |
