But that is what they did......
Think he imagined that he would have a hangover, not that he be sexually assaulted.
If it were the other way around and three guys had done it to a woman, I think that there would be greater interest in the case.
He took the very brave steps to report this- the ones we as a society want women to take and reassure them that they can be helped, yet most comments on the reports have been making light of what happened.
Horrific crime was committed and gender really shouldn't matter for either the victim or the assailants. |

I absolutely agree but as an adult, unless the person who is unconscious with alcohol was forced to drink it, they chose to drink it.
What happened after that is deplorable and despicable and I condem those women as much as I would condem them if they were men. |

But that's is what happens.
Having spent many years working in a pub this is a tactic employed by many men to "loosen " up women.
They buy them more alcohol than they are used to then try and take advantage of their d*unken state.
But no one forced her to drink
But no one forced her to go back to the house/hotel are often heard as excuses when sexual assaults are committed. |

I hate this ridiculous rhetoric about victims (know that you are not forwarding that). Nobody criticises anyone that has their car stolen for leaving £25,000 sitting on the drive......
If everyone second guessed every action they took- if only I hadn't had a drink, gone out, burnt his dinner..... then people would stay at home alone and never interact.
The only people that should be criticised are those three women.  |
