As the new year of 2017 fast approaches us and time stands still for no man or woman, i find myself question my wants needs and desires so with that i am on the look out for that 1 amazing woman that was graced by god to be by my side, sure theres been others but not and never has there been total honesty faithfulness trust and true companionship

Have had several long term relationships where truthfulness, honesty and openness have been the basis (as they should be)of our time together. Unfortunately, most of them seemed to peter out after about 6 or so years, but I'm happy being a singleton at present |

I grew up in a time when Disney told us our perfect prince would find us and we'd be happy forever. Followed by Cosmopolitan telling us we could have it all.
Now experience has taught me that neither is true and I am a slightly bitter and disappointed woman. What I want doesn't exist.
Mostly I deal with this in my usual chilled out way with acceptance. But just occasionally it really pisses me off!

I too have had past bad experiences due to one or other of the above vitals being missing but am happy to say that I have found all those in my current partner that I met on fab. I attribute our openness to our past experiences and fab. It has brought a beautiful honesty to whatwe naturally have. Wishing you a beautiful surprise of the heart for 2017 op |

I think the whole concept of being in a relationship has changed and is changing for the vast majority of us all the time.
Can we be in a relationship that has trust, faithfulness and unconditional love whilst being swingers? Porn stars? Escorts? Adult entertainers the lot? I think so yes, even if your counterpart isn't into or participates, communication, understanding and a self assured "I" for both parties could probably make it work.
Going back to can you find that special something/someone who's meant to be for me, probably boils down to our own ideal of perfect. Of course we are able to find someone we are bat shit crazy about but to keep it going strong and real, maybe we as individuals fail here. Perhaps we don't cummunicate our feelings, our needs our wants as effectively as we should. We may lose the art of being able to compromise and make a stand when we should and to top it all off from the get go. However, that said we all know that sometimes things just run their course and realistically we should and could learn from them and take what we can benefit from, from the mistakes to make it better next time...
What are your thoughts fabbers? Can you have it all whilst being a swinger or adult entertainer?

I agree with this. I had the fairytale dream at one point but the last four years has just shown me I'm going to be single forever. I have started to accept it and i'm content; a little bitter but mainly content lol |

Some dreams do come true but what they don't tell you is that you have to work to get it and then the real work starts to keep it! Trust is the cornerstone, communication, truthfulness and honesty are also key points and unfortunately it's so easy to write down or say it but very difficult to achieve it. In this day and age it's just too easy to fall off the tracks, plus so many distractions and pressures of life!

I just hope that our relationship continues to go from strength to strength in the new year as it has been. 16 months already - not bad for a couple who initially met on here

I still believe in fairytale, howevere due to a past experience, I am now wary when it comes to be in a relationship.
